![]() Crystal Symphony Achieves Rare Perfect 100 on U.S Health Inspection (11/3/09)
Crystal Cruises Symphony has received a perfect score from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The score came on the heels of an inspection on October 21. Scoring for this inspection is based on a list of more than 40 inspection items. Included in the rigorous process was an evaluation of the ships water system, food storage areas, waste management, cleaning standards and more. This inspection was part of the CDCs Vessel Sanitation Program (VSP), which operates under the U.S. Public Health Service Act, to inspect all cruise ships that offer foreign itineraries with U.S. ports, and assist the cruise ship industry in the implementation of systems to protect the health of travelers.
