Sandals Resorts has released details of its new ‘Sandals Platinum Protocols of Cleanliness'. New and enhanced protocols include:

• All resorts are diligently cleaned and sanitized on an ongoing basis, with a Triple-Check system and a minimum of three inspections daily.
• Guests' temperatures will be checked upon arrival to the resort as a precautionary measure.
• Guests will have the ability to check-in online, allowing them to skip the front desk and go directly to their room.
• Guests will be encouraged to check-in online through our resort app. Doing so reduces direct contact at the reception area by up to 90 percent.
• Additional hand-sanitizing stations are being installed throughout the resorts for use by guests and team members, including at all dining facilities and in individual guest rooms.
• They are introducing new methods of maintaining safe social distances while upholding the relaxed atmosphere such as operating more airport transfers and ensuring fewer guests per vehicle; establishing safe social distances in public areas like restaurants, bars, and beaches, etc.
• All staff will be required to know where the nearest hand sanitizer stations are located at all times, wear protective face gear and gloves at all times when at the resort, and ensure uniforms are not worn during travel to and from work.
